Oh my gosh!! According the random number generator on random.org, the winner is Frances from Fairegarden. Congratulations Frances!
I want to thank everyone who commented and told me how they would use the rain chain if they won. It made for some sweet reading. I’m sorry I couldn’t reply to everyone, but with 58 comments, I was stunned.
Frances, dear, I hope you enjoy your new rain chain. You’ll have to take photos and show us.

Dear Dee, I am so happy, words fail to describe the elation! Thank you so much, Dee, you are the best. I really have the perfect spot for this, at the corner of my shed roof, which has no gutters and the rain has been washing away the soil from the foxglove bed there. And it is in the view from the lazyboy, too. I will take tons of photos, even trying the new camera!
