Of the Fiskars family of garden helpers, the PowerGear® tools are my favorites. When Fiskars gave me the opportunity to give away anything I wanted from the PowerGear® line, I chose the following:
Item: 377363-1002, UltraBlade® PowerGear® Bypass Pruner; I don’t have these, but I’d enjoy them. Hint, hint Fiskars!
Item 7937, PowerGear® Bypass Pruner; I use a pair of these everyday;
Item 9619, PowerGear® 17 Inch Bypass Loppers; okay, this is my best tool for getting into those tricky rose pruning jobs. They are just the right size, and I don’t get scratched as often.
For bigger jobs, I like Item 9632, the 27-inch,PowerGear® Bypass loppers; and
Finally, Item 9619,PowerGear® Hedge Shears, which are new to me this year, but I use them for trimming decorative grasses and cutting back perennial herbs among other things.
At retail, this prize package is worth approximately $178.00.

Be sure to give an additional comment for each time you tweet or facebook this post so that it will be easier to count. Winners will be chosen based upon a random number generator. I hope you win.
Note: I write for Fiskars, and I do receive free tools as part of my benefit package. However, I did get to pick those tools I wanted to give away, so the above ones are all favorites of mine except for the pruner I haven’t yet tried.
Oh, and one more thing, the contest is over next week on Wednesday, April 25, 2012, at Midnight. Thanks!

I LOVE my Fiskars power gear bypass pruners and the power stroke long handle pruner/saw. Can’t imagine how I ever lived without them. I’m always having to point my friends to where they can buy their own and stop borrowing mine.
I look forward to your “Ramblings”. We could always use new tools in Gnomeville!!!
Can’t wait to see your garden this summer!!
We need to come up with dates. My daylilies will be at top bloom a week after yours in town.
I actually came by to ask you if peonies will grow in Oklahoma about zone 7a. Would you believe I didn’t know what a peony was until two months ago when I signed up to a popular social network? I found you there, too. While I’m at it another tweet is in order for a “last minute” contest is always exciting for folks. If I win some Fun Fiskars PowerGear it would be nice, but I’m just glad to know you have peonies growing in your garden according to your latest post. Blessings bon https://twitter.com/#!/boniferous
Yes, yes they will. I have about twelve or fifteen plants altogether, and I love each and every one of them. Thanks for the tweets and such.
It’s a beautiful day today. Would love some new Fiskers right about now!
Oh, I would love to have those tools! Could I also have an extra day added to every week to spend in the garden?
