Gorgeous monarch time-lapse, and with the music, a restorative, beautiful movie for me today. Thanks, Dee!
Always a day late and a dollar short! I hate I missed your giveaway. — Randy
Those butterflies are having too much fun in all those beautiful perennials! Nice vid!
Lovely Dee. I like your variety of Black-eyed Susan as much at the little Skipper and your Phlox looks delicious too. What a wonderful butterfly station your garden is. ;>)
Loved the blackeyed-susans with the butterflies, mine are being dined on by lots of grasshoppers and the heat is beginning to take them down. Also, was that a small phlox in the pictures, the pale pink with darker center?
Laura, thanks, yes that’s a phlox. It’s Phlox paniculata ‘Bright Eyes’ but it is very faded by the sun. Normally, it is a brighter pink with dark eyes.~~Dee
Simply wonderful. My black-eyed Susan’s look like toast. How are yours so beautiful? Do you dead head them the same as coneflowers?
I do deadhead them as they begin to fade. They are also on a sprinkler system and are the perennial ‘Goldsturm’. Maybe those are the reasons?~~Dee
Lovely and relaxing to watch on a hot summer’s evening.
Thank you dear.~~Dee
That was beautiful.
Thanks MMD. I hoped it would take the edge off this heat.~~Dee
