Those are spectacular roses! Beautiful plants surrounding the roses. Some day I’ll have to see those gardens!

Thanks Nola. I love the rose garden there. It holds such great memories, but I was sad to see it in some disrepair. Disappointing really. I wanted to take my pruners to some of the shrubs.~~Dee

    Lovely KO.

Your wordless post shows as a blank in Blotanical’s Picks frame.

Do you know you can change your Feeds to ‘Full’ so that your text and photos show up in the Blotanical picks frame rather than just 3 lines?
.-= Nell Jean´s last blog ..What to Do: Your Text and Pics Aren’t Showing on Blotanical =-.

Hi Nell Jean, thanks for the heads up about Blotanical. Unfortunately, I’ve tried to make my feed show up better in Blotanical and have given up the fight. I don’t use a full feed because scrapers take my words and photos and label them their own. It’s a copyright nightmare out here.~~Dee

Knock Outs are taking over the world or commercial, municipal and residential landscaping – at this point I am OK with that. I am glad you and yours were not directly affected by the recent tornadoes.
    .-= Les´s last blog ..Rude Plant =-.

Yes, Les, I agree. They sure are. However, I wonder why the landscapers don’t pick some of the other cultivars of Knockouts. Must they all be red or pink? There is a rainbow now to pick from and other companies making disease resistance a priority.~~Dee

I have seen a similar planting here in town. It is so bright and cheerful.

    Lisa, they are surely pretty.~~Dee

Hi Dee. What a lovely planting. I’ve haven’t tried catmint at the feet of roses but it seems to work beautifully.

We have had the coldest weather here too. I guess that’s good in a way because it never storms in really cold weather.
    Marnie

Marnie, I hope this moves on through, and we have sunnier weather. I’m freezing.~~Dee

What a gorgeous display. I have the single Knockout and it is pretty stunning when it’s in full flush. 🙂
    .-= Racquel´s last blog ..Bloomin Tuesday =-.

Hi Racquel, mine seems to be in bloom much of the time unless the temps go over 100F. That slows it down.~~Dee

Thanks Tina. I thought it was pretty.~~Dee
