Have you ever dreamed of a greenhouse?

Wouldn't a greenhouse look great just beyond the potager?

Over on the Lowe’s Garden Grow Along blog, I share about the type of greenhouse I’d like to have.

Go on over and have a look see. They are still working on the comments section so if you comment there, I may not see it for a day or two. Comment anyway if you’d like. I’ll get it eventually, and I’ll write back as soon as I do. If you’d like to comment here, that’s great too.

Let me know about your dreams for a greenhouse. It’s good to dream.

We are dreaming of a 5 acre greenhouse addition for next year but I still want a greenhouse attached to the back of my house with a heated swimming pool and tropical garden to help me get through our dark and dreary Vancouver winters 🙂

Tamara, talk about dreaming big. That is so cool. You Vancouver folks do need something special for winter.

Oh yes and my dream came true this past Christmas!!!

Darla, I am so happy for you. I’ve got my fingers crossed for one this spring. A great anniversary present I think.

I only dream of a greenhouse if it comes with workers to clean the windows for me. Ugh – I can’t keep up with the windows in my house already 🙂 But it would be wonderful to have one, especially an extravagently expensive one that’s exquisitely made, like I see in the ads in Horticulture magazine.

Yes, or the ads in Gardens Illustrated. Those are splendid.

I do, and then I remember the hail storms!

Sarah, mine will have clear plexi-glass windows. Can’t be replacing windows every year. 🙂

I just left a comment on your Lowe’s blog basically saying that I’d love to have a greenhouse, but besides the expense, I’ve always worried that the winds that whip through here would destroy it. But both the photos you showed there look much sturdier. I do hope your dream comes true, Dee!

I don’t think I’ve ever seen photos of your potager before–simply beautiful!

Thank you so much Rose. I think the greenhouses are tethered to the ground. At least, the ones I saw have that option. It would be a requirement here.

I have always dreamed of a greenhouse, Dee. If I didn’t have the cottage up north where we go year-round, it still would 🙂

Joey, cottages are so very nice too. I’d like to see yours someday and sit with you next to the lake.

May our dreams come true … you and your greenhouse and joining me at the lake … I would love that 🙂

Thanks Joey. Someday, we’ll make it happen.

Have I ever. That would definitely be a lottery item for me.

Lisa, they are really pricey. I’m writing to work toward one though.
